So How to display the feeling that you would experience, listening a FADO live performance? … only being a part of a FADO concert in the traditional restaurants called Casa do Fado. I would say that there is no need to create a museum do fado because every casa do fado in Lisbon is already a live museum. The atmosphere in there, portraits, pictures, special Fado culture and the singers are always close to the public, there is no stage.
MUFA will be a casa do fado. The restaurant becomes the heart and soul of the museum. The idea is to create a hybrid where the restaurant is not just a small coffee always being empty on the top of building. Everything is connected and isolated at the same time. People can have dinner and listen
